Anxiety, Depression, & Mood Disorders
Anxiety can look like obvious worry or panic, but it can also be quieter: replaying conversations, anticipating what might go wrong, avoiding decisions, needing reassurance, or having a hard time ever fully relaxing. Depression can show up as sadness, but also exhaustion, irritability, disconnection, or going through the motions while everything feels harder than it should.
In session, we’ll get specific about the patterns keeping you stuck. That might mean learning to respond differently to anxious thoughts, gradually doing things you’ve been avoiding, building skills for difficult emotions, or changing routines that are reinforcing low mood.
Treatment may include CBT, ACT, and DBT, depending on what you’re experiencing. We might work on approaching situations you’ve been avoiding, changing patterns of worry or rumination, building more effective ways to manage difficult emotions, or getting back to routines and activities that have fallen away.
