About the Team
Janette Levin, LMSW
Clinician
Janette Levin, LMSW, is a clinician committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—with psychodynamic perspectives, balancing practical skill-building with deeper emotional insight.
Janette received her MSW from Columbia University, where she specialized in Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities. She has trained in both clinical and research settings, including Mount Sinai’s Child & Adolescent Outpatient Clinic and the Center for Prolonged Grief, experiences that have informed her interest in resilience, adjustment, and the mind-body connection.
She is especially passionate about supporting clients through life transitions such as school, career, relationships, and identity development. Janette’s goal is to meet each client where they are, offering tools for growth while fostering reflection, self-understanding, and lasting change in a collaborative, compassionate environment.
